Our clients and principle contractors are moving towards more environmental friendly structures, B & K Structures have found a considerable interest in our hybrid and glulam designs, understanding the client commercial aspirations as well as the aesthetic and sustainable demands we have developed a single source supply for our structures that combines steel and glulam to form the “BKS Hybrid”. Following a natural progression we have developed our skills in engineered timber and introduced Cross Laminated Timber (X-LAM) during 2009. We have successfully delivered a number of schemes, on time and to budget, exceeding our clients expectations.

During 2010, we have undertaken projects that include; glulam and SIP’s, glulam, X-LAM, steel and engineered timber cassettes aswell as many glulam and steel hybrid schemes.

2011 will see BKS delivering a structure that incorporates all of the above projects, with the addition of pre cast concrete panels. Such schemes include the prestigious retail outlet for Marks and Spencer’s at Cheshire Oaks.
